Tenant Highlight

Woodside Oaks Independent Senior Living features woodworking artist and tenant, John Bambic.  Since retiring John has been carving Whirligigs (windmills) from linden wood.  As a native Slovenian who immigrated to Wisconsin in 1950 with his wife and infant daughter, his Whirligigs capture memories from his youth.  Now at the age of 99, John has a collection of more than 50 Whirligigs with each representing more than 30 hours of labor all made with his handmade knife.
