Woodside’s World Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies

3/4 Cup Butter

3/4 Cup Margarine

3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar

1 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

1 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla

3 Eggs, Beaten

3 3/4 Cups Flour

1 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda

2 1/4 Teaspoon Salt

2 1/2 Cups Chocolate Chips

Preheat over to 350 degrees.  Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.  Beat butter, margarine, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in large bowl until creamy.  Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.  Gradually beat in flour mixture.  Stir in chocolate chips.  Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.  Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.  Yields approx. 50 cookies.

Woodside’s Famous Homemade Sloppy Joe Recipe

3 Stalks of Celery

1 Medium Onion

1 Medium Green Pepper

2 Tablespoons of Worcestershire Sauce

2 Tablespoons of Brown Sugar

15 oz. Can of Tomato Sauce

15 oz. Ketchup

1 (15 oz.) Can Petite Diced Tomatoes

2 lbs. Lean Hamburger

1 Teaspoon of Salt

1/2 Teaspoon of Onion Powder

1/2 Teaspoon of Black Pepper

8 Hamburger Buns

Finely chop the onions, celery and green pepper.  Place in large skillet or Dutch oven over medium/high heat.  Add hamburger, onions, celery and green peppers.  Cook until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender.  Drain grease.  Add tomato sauce, Ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, salt, onion powder and black pepper.  ENJOY!
